HDR vs. Flambient:
- Either gets the job done, if done correctly
- Flambient involves more time, placing flashes, etc., merging, hand blending
- HDR: much faster, but editing requires a lot of color correcting, etc.
HDR – This is what I do, so my info is based on HDR
- What is HDR? High Dynamic Range
- bracketing/merging/playing with the shadows
- Software for HDR: LR and PS, but also Photomatix to merge, PTLens to straighten
Camera settings: F7.1
- Interior ISO400
- Exterior ISO200/250
- Brackets – 3@2 stops, 5@2stops
Basic equipment:

Bio:
- Born and raised in OR
- Taught school for 25 years
- Been in RE Photography since 2014, full time since 2018
- Dad loved photography, and learned some from him
- Digital cameras and divorce peaked my interest in it once again
- Started with just my students, school events, families, etc.
- A friend who had just become a realtor asked me to shoot her listings.
- I make 4 times what I did teaching school…. And I have 3 education degrees!

We have circuit speakers that go to various cities which may cause a schedule change. Check the calendar below for the exact dates. Our association events and special events can be scheduled at any date.

WHAT TIME
- 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm – Pre-Meeting Social and Networking
The locations are posted on our Facebook page, typically on the day of the event.
- 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm – Monthly Meeting
Come ready to learn and have some fun! If materials or equipment is needed, information will be given in the event info as well as in the FaceBook group.
