2012 Award Winning Professional Photographers of East Tennessee Images at Annual Salon

This year’s East Tennessee’s Professional Photographers image competition winners are below.  The quality of the images were incredible and many of the area’s best photographers participated.  All three judges were master photographers meaning that they have won alot of photography competitions and have taken extensive classes on judging.  This year we were blessed two nationally certified judges due to Carla Hoskins hard work and one state certified judge.  They were very generous with their feedback on how to improve the quality of the photos even more.  Below is a list of the winners.

2012 PPETN Annual Image Salon

Thursday, March 15th

 Calhoun’s on Bearden Hill at 6515 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919

5:00 pm – digital submission deadline and all accompanying prints must be in; 6:00 P.M. gathering, fellowship & Dutch dinner. Competition starts at 7:00 P.M.

Yes, it is that time of year again.  This is a fabulous opportunity for fine tuning your photographic skills, a great marketing opportunity (if you win), and can also help your websites search engine ranking (winners will be listing on the website with banklinks).  We will have three professional certified judges that usually are very open with suggestions and thoughts on the submissions.  You may also want to ask them further questions after the judging.

This year’s categories are: ANIMALS (subcategories Pets & Wildlife), COMMERCIAL (subcategories Architectural, Editorial and Industrial), GROUPS (Subcategory Couples), ILLUSTRATIVE (Subcategories Pictorial and Abstract), PORTRAIT (Subcategories Male, Female, and Child), SPORTS, WEDDING (Subcategories Bridal & Event), and ALBUM (Subcategories Open & Wedding)

All entrants must be in good standing and follow all the Salon rules linked above.

Fees are $60 for 4 submissions and $85 for 6 submissions and must be submitted as soon as possible but no later than 5:00pm the day of the salon. Late entries make it much more likely for errors to be introduced in the naming and categorization of your entries.

Submit your entries as soon as possible.
