Please join us on Thursday, May 13, 2010 for our regular monthly meeting. This month, our speaker will be Farrah Braniff, CPP.  Her program will be on:

Inspired Marketing

Our clients are being hit with thousands of marketing messages per day, how can you stand out?  Learn how to get inspired about your marketing, define your brand and improve your online presence.  Find out ways to make your clients love you and do some of the promoting for you!  Farrah will also share some of her AN-NE award winning marketing materials with you and discuss the process of developing her award-winning website and blog.

Farrah’s topics will include:

 

  • The difference between your brand and your identity
  • How to create a comprehensive and cohesive set of marketing materials
  • Finding inspiration for your marketing efforts
  • Low or no cost ways to find and connect with prospective clients
  • Low or no cost ways to connect with the clients you already have and get them talking about you
  • Marketing to women
  • What is a client evangelist?
  • Why great packaging matters

 

Farrah Braniff is a Houston based photographer, specializing in contemporary portraits of babies, children and families.  She operates a high-end, low volume retail studio and has been recognized for her unique style of marketing and design.  She has won numerous awards for her marketing work including The Professional Photographers of America (PPA) AN-NE award for the last three consecutive years.  Farrah’s photographs have been accepted into the loan collection of the Professional Photographers of America and has been highlighted in the Professional Photographers of America Magazine.  Before opening her studio, Farrah taught specialized photography classes at multiple educational institutions including her alma mater, the Grammy Award winning High School for the Performing and Visual Arts.  She loves old cameras, cowboy boots, tattoos and her houseful of rowdy boys.

Monthly 8×10 Competition:

We will be holding our monthly 8×10 competition this month. PPETN members may bring as many 8×10 prints to the competition each month. The cost is $3 per print. Please remember to bring a CD of your submitted images (600 pixels on the largest side). Points towards our annual “Photographer of the Year” will be awarded once we receive digital versions for submitting on our blog.
