How To Cancel Your Membership Dues in PayPal

All PPETN memberships use PayPal’s “preapproved payments” subscription system to auto-renew your membership with dues payments each year.

Occasionally, members need to cancel their automatic dues payment (like changing membership levels or canceling membership). To make these changes, you’ll need to log in to your PayPal account.

Cancel Membership Dues Payment

To cancel the automatic membership dues payment for your PPETN membership, follow this checklist:

  1. Log in to your PayPal account. (Click here to go to PayPal’s login page.)
  2. Click on Profile at the top right of the page, then click Profile and Settings.
  3. Click My Money on the left side of the page.
  4. Look for the My Preapproved payments section, then click Update on the right side of that section.
  5. Click Professional Photographers of East Tennessee in the Merchants list.
  6. Click Cancel in the top section.
  7. Click Cancel plan in the pop-up window.
