Plan Ahead for 2016’s Most Important Pro Photo Events

With all the fantastic events PPETN has planned for 2016, you’ll want to go ahead and put these events on your calendar!  

PPETN’s events generally take place at Farmer’s Mutual of Tennessee (837 Hall of Fame Drive, Knoxville, TN 37917—click for directions). Meeting locations can vary depending on the type of meeting, though, so always make sure to check each event’s info page for specific location and other information.

Events are generally on the 1st Thursday after the 2nd Monday each month, and most event times follow this schedule:

  • ~5:00 pm: Pro Photographers’ Social + Networking Hour at Barley’s Taproom & Pizzeria (200 East Jackson Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37915—click for directions).
  • ~6:30-7:00 pm: Laughlin Print Photography Competition (deadline is 6:30) at Farmer’s Mutual (837 Hall of Fame Drive, Knoxville, TN 37917—click for directions).
  • ~7:00-9:00 pm: Pro Photo Seminar/Meeting/Workshop Program at Farmer’s Mutual.

Not A PPETN Member?

Everyone is welcome to attend any PPETN event! PPETN events are generally open to the public without any R.S.V.P. needed. Check each event’s info page to see what the specific details are for the event you are considering attending.

Non-Member Attendance:

All non-members must obtain a Single Event Pass to attend a PPETN event. A Single Event Pass is a one-time event pass designed to provide access to non-members who are interested in attending an event hosted or provided by PPETN.

Complimentary First-Time Visit:

A complimentary Single Event Pass is given to first-time attendees of PPETN events. This complimentary Single Event Pass is only given once and is not provided to individuals for any subsequent events after they have used it.

Cost:

The Single Event Pass fee is $20 per event and is due prior to entry at each event attended.

Open Events:

PPETN may open certain events to all professional photographers. If this occurs, that event will not require a Single Event Pass. In addition, the open event may require a fee to attend and there will be no complimentary Single Event Passes provided to cover this fee.

Restrictions:
  • Complimentary Single Event Passes may not be provided to past members of PPETN.
  • Single Event Passes are available to non-members for one year from their first attended event. After one year, the non-member must apply for any Primary Active Membership or Secondary Active Membership to continue attending PPETN events.
  • The Single Event Pass is not a form of membership in PPETN and therefore comes with no rights or privileges of membership.
